Dude... I hope you still have that collection of DBZ toys, those are my favorite part of your collection.
Thanks...Sorry though...Nope...they were sold to pay off the legal bills too. Sad thing is, I took a pretty big loss on those as a whole compared to what I put into those and those I didn't trade at all...those were all $$$ I spent. But, if you think my DBZ collection was SICK...check out my friend's (who started collecting DBZ in 2000, 8 years after I started in 1992) http://www.littlerubberguys.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15758 Once again, I think you have to be a member of www.littlerubberguys.com to view these threads...sorry. Hey you have an awesome setup and collection. It's sad to read about the divorce and also the shit that went with it. It must have taken a lot of your time selling your toys and the emotions that you experienced. Hope all is well now.
i forgot i had the dino's and cavemen along with the mountain playsets until i saw them again. the pics triggered the memories.
Loved looking at the picture of such a dedicated collector's collection. Loved seeing those DBZ and NBC goodies. Drool.
Thanks, your empathy and sincerity is MUCHO appreciated. Ya, I would say I am over most of it...I still have to deal w/ her baloney on a regular basis and my sons have and are still suffering from her crap. She is pure evil. Everything in the last 3 years has been hard. TGB
this stuff is all awesome! i've been wanting to build my "little rubber guy" collection for some time, but i can never remember some of the names of the series that came out when i was a kid. I'm officially joining that little rubber guys forum so i can finally learn more...
that's a seriously great collection and a super rad room of display cases but I would rather see them packed with more a lot more kaiju... cool nightmare stuff but overall it's just not my cup of tea...
Crazy collection, can you tell me what these wrestler guys are: And also what these little round guys are on the 2nd shelf, I remember having the one with the green hat on the end when I was a kid...
Great stuff...I love to see a cabinet stuffed full of things...those dinos rule...I also like seeing all the lines I had sort of forgotten about...come on..."germs"...how awesome is that... So the real question is how many of us looked through ooze-it's collection and then clicked the link to litterubberguys and spent about an hour looking through stuff there....good stuff all around....
I love the room set-up - the display cases, neat rows of file cabinets, the built-ins - a nice orderly contrast to the chaos of so many toys stuffed in the display cabinets. The paint scheme and furniture is wicked cool too. Sorry to hear about the crappy divorce.
Man, I used to have a shitload of Monster in My Pocket toys when I was little. I think I'm going to have find some now. I love non-kaiju collections. It reminds of the days when I was a youngster and collected action figures from every imaginable cartoon, which is what started this whole obsessive collecting addiction in the first place.
I don't think you had to sell your collection. Just charge people to see your toy museum, I mean, house. Absolutely remarkable. And sorry about your situation.
Thanks for the kind words EVERYONE...ya, it was a little like a mini museum. I am over the whole divorce thang...even though I still have to deal w/ the nasty/evil person. Ya, I loved having soooooooo many different types of toys and mainly loose mint complete and all packed into (neatly) each shelf maximizing the display space. I still have a bunch of toys for sale here http://www.littlerubberguys.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21411&pid=204933&st=0&#entry204933 I do still have quite a bit of NMBC toys for sale as well. TGB
those battle beasts and god beasts are soooo awesome! i've been trying to stay away from collecting those, but seeing your collection might have just put me over the edge. thanks a lot dammit.
Pretty rad tiki mug collection that you had, too! I always wondered if anyone else here collected them.
