Several people on SB collect tiki mugs. Plus, the genius behind Munktiki is a very active member here. What d'ya think of them apples?!?
Sorry to hear about your divorce, that sucks. On to your collection pics. That is one of the sickest things I have ever seen. I would have paid to visit your house, that is like a museum, just amazing, so much cool stuff ..... Yes, I have no clue what most of that stuff is, but just the time and effort to put all those things together in the displays, wow..
WOW...maybe I should have just turned it into an actual museum w/ admission and I wouldn't have had to sell it all off to pay for the nasty divorce/custody battle. Great idea, just 2 years too late... HAHAHAHA...
That was my 2008 2nd annual "Bras 4 The Cause" charity sculpture. Here are links: http://www.godbeast.com/sculptures.htm & http://www.godbeast.com/publications.htm
The plastic lace bras are really amazing. Kudos to you for contributing to the fight against breast cancer. The frame around the computer monitor is really cool, too.
Thanks! I just wanted to make a difference and what better way than to mold and cast an actual bra as a work of art to let them auction off for $ to the cause! Hand carving all that fine plastic out of the lace was a difficult labor intensive task, but, so worth it. TGB
Completely awesome of you to contribute your time and talent to such a worthwhile cause. If I don't ask I'll regret it...what are the red striped fellas to the left of your monitor? I feel like I've seen them before, but can't place where.
They remind me of Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Edit: They are indeed American McGee's Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Those were an awesome set of toys.
Yup, that is exactly what they are. I just sold them on Ebay (actually ended today). They are AWESOME toys and hated to part w/ them, but, this economy sucks. Hey, can any of you collectors identify this? It is rubber, made in the 70's (I had one as a kid). It is made in Hong Kong and is copyright Gigantor w/ a stamp. I bought this one years and years ago off Ebay on a fluke to replace this wonderful childhood toy. I also forgot what these other vinyl toys were as well... Mucho appreciated! TGB
Thanks Joe & and Ooze! Those guys indeed look awesome. Nice details on them. Glad I asked what they are.
wtf, haha, too much going on to keep my attention. But i browsed through and saw smurfs and snorkels. haha.
just wodnering what are the two big beast in the corners what are those wrestlers what are those two monster heads on the top shelf lower corner kick ass collection by the way great setup of battle/laser beasts
Battle Brawlers "Crackarm & Hammertail" 80's made by Kenner and these were the only 2 figures in the series! They are kewl...Crackarm's arms open out wide/long, then the red buttons on his hips detach them. Hammertail's scorpion tail extends out/down and then comes up over his head like a scorpion's tail...then the button on his waist detaches it. I am planning on selling these. Boglins (rubber puppets w/ moveable eyes and sounds) they were from the 80's, but, the 2 in that photo were from the late 90's (remakes). Already sold these. Monster in My Pocket Wresters from the UK. Already sold these. Most of my toy collections are sold due to a nasty divorce/custody battle that cost me $$$$$. This was my collection pre-divorce 1/1/06. I have 5-10% of these toys still. Thanks for the compliments on my bb/lb collection. One of the few collections other than some of my NMBC I still own. TGB
Oh dude, Boglins! I totally forgot about those, but had a few when I was a little Arin Might have to try to pick a couple of those up now!
They made little mini boglins in the UK! They were gumball machine sized and all kinds of funky colors! TGB
Hey Ooze...sorry to hijack your thread...but I just wanted to tap into your NBC expertise. I got this NBC Style Guide years ago from a friend at Disney. Do you know anything about these? Thanks!
sometimes.... married + toys = sucks. trying to convince the wife that spending a $100 or more on a toy that is the same as the one you already have, except a different color, can be pretty challenging...
