A couple more from Godzilla's Vancouver adventures. More dark shadows then anything. Silhouetted against the skyline Godzilla emerges from the Pacific to wreak havoc on the pitiful humans trapped by the Rockies.
those of you from the chicagoland area might remember this frightening, boiling sky from 2011... pyggy, you might need more than a scarf.
is that what the apocalypse is called? i'm just glad it hasn't happened again since then. thanks for the education! ha ha ha, they do! i didn't even notice that
Wow! What's going on here? With the stare down and the clouds and Gerrard knowing the name of the clouds...
Both of those toys are SPECTACULAR, especially the Ultra. U.S. Toys? Last I saw the Bean they hadn't buffed out the plates yet. Guess that means it's been a while. You should take some aquatic beasts over to the spitting fountain!
Agreed. Both of them are killer, some of the best UST I have seen, but especially the fightin' pose on that ultra. Having him all decked out in red vinyl is just an excellent bonus. Love the shot too Bill, they definitely look like they are enjoying themselves at the bean (either that or protecting it from the onslaught of evil kaiju).
^^ yup, both are perfect little u.s.toys nuggets. i have several photo sets of toys in the shallow pool in front of the spitting video monoliths, but i haven't shared them yet coming soon? it took six months or more of under-tarp secrecy before the engineers were able to meet the artist's vision for its perfectly seamless, mirror-like finish. the wait was worth it (cost is another discussion); it's one of the best public objects in this great city. ^ right after this shot, both of them got sucked up into the mind-bending vortex that is the underbelly sphincter of the bean. it was disturbing on many levels. anyone who has stood beneath it and stared straight up into its bigger-on-the-inside knows the overwhelming falling-upwards effect it has.
