as usual, I'ma 'bout 2 yrs behind everybody else, but here: https://i.rmbl.ws/s8/2/H/s/k/y/Hskya.caa.2.mp4 Japanese kitteh gang.
Henry had to go to see the vet today. I swear, they both look like they are growing again. Emma is "resting" on the top of a wooden platform my friend built. Henry is lounging below. Can't figure out why Emma always looks larger in photos (bigger than Henry). It's Henry who is the large one. He's actually a good 30% bigger than Emma. p.s. Emma is never satisfied, until she is brushed for a full 20 mins., or longer -- long enough for "brush rows" to stay embedded in her fur
Ah, you beat me to the re-post! I am definitely in love with this. The dedication it takes to build something like this, with Japanese apartment space limitations, and also use cat food boxes as an extra meta level construction element, is something I can admire. Cat mecha is good mecha. Now just to see one all painted up with applied decals, and I will be in full kitteh/human swoon mode.
A friend of mine tried to pick up Emma. After looking at the photo, I realize how big she's gotten! And Henry is even bigger!
Shhhhhhhh!!! Just keep telling yourself that your friend is really small. On the flip side, they are living up to the legacy as members of of the 'tiger' family household.
Please remember to refer to this chart to classify your cats. Rokit is He Chomk and Lulu is at the cusp between A Heckin' Chonker and HEFTYCHONK. Chomnk Chart by Doug Hardy, on Flickr
Doug that is a great chart! The thing is, H&E aren't super fat, they are just big kittees! The vet says that I should not let them loose more than 2 lbs. each. So fat-wise, Emma is a "Heckin Chonker" but size-wise, she's a "Hefty". Henry is actually thinner than Emma, so he's a "He Chonk" fat-wise, but an "Oh Lawd He Comin" size-wise! p.s. Stevie 1, my friend kept dropping Emma, so she didn't even try to heft Henry p.p.s. Stevie 2, thank you for introducing a new word into my vocabulary! Neologizing is something I do all the time!
I got one fine boi, one chonmk, two a heckin chonker. Pickles would be considered a heckin' chonker but that boi is all muscle.
Seriously cute photos of your kittees @Geobukgan ! Henry says, don't forget to get your flu shot, and eat lots of citrus! Winter is on the way!
Lovely new additions to the family @Herr Graves! Very cute, and I am sure they will be to mischief in no time. @TattooDougHardy Ha, great Bat-Hat! (You are also lucky you have a kitteh who is so 'accommodating')
A friend of mine decided that there was no reason why she hadn't been making paintings her entire life, so she might just as well start now. Here's a bunch of cats that she's committed to canvas since April: View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram She's also particularly fond of brokenhearted ghosts.
