@Smotemotem - You're taking points off because it's built with 12 distinct colors of vinyl rather than 4 (or 5)? My rule, not that I chase mixed-parts dollies, is that there should be as many colors as there are parts, so what we have up there above gets full marks. Would you call it 'flip' if I had no intention of buying one but would probably quite enjoy seeing one in person?
Now this particular version of MX1 is a 100% drip - I love mixed parts, and more than anything this version has no paint so you can have a great time removing parts for the secret details etc etc. Love it love it love it now all I need is a HK bruh to get into my DMs and help a honky out
I hear ya. It definitely took a lot of time and money to produce this piece, and I can appreciate the philosophy of “no repeats”. I just think a toy looks cleaner with a simpler palette. Actually, I think this is a “flip” for me, because it’s pretty, and I might have bought this when I was going through a brief period of collecting blanks.
Yeah, practically impossible for me sadly, barring some absurd stroke of luck. I dig the toy but am not prepared to trade for one, and don't have YJA kind of money to burn. Still, the sheer number of parts makes it one of my favourite mixed-parts toys. Funny how that works, since I still wouldn't buy the current painted versions of the toy.
Oh my. This toy is fucking terrible. What is it, like parts from six disparate figures mixed together to see how shitty a toy people will actually fork over money for? Reminds me of that old rxh/mad barbarians figure taken to the nth power. Pure hype is what’s driving this figure.
I think Izu is an amazing tattoo/fine artist, and a damn good painter of toys. I just can’t get into his sculpts. There are MAYBE two I wouldn’t mind owning. But his tattoos and artwork are pretty epic.
