I love getting comments on my photos, especially when it's from someone who has the same sculpt so we can both nerd out together about how much we love it.
Sadly I think the fact that so many toys are introduced to the community exclusively through Instagram, and a lack of history of the artists or backstory to the toy means less discussion. Most people know the toy from obnoxious lotto pic shares and nobody knows who makes them other than a name...
It's also so easy to get likes by requiring everyone who enters a lottery to like the original post. They know the game and are playing it. Their post gets boosted, more people see it, more people follow...
@MattyBoomBatty Oh, I Totally get what you’re saying, but I strictly meant in terms of collecting. It definitely seems more prevalent to strictly collect what you know will get you attention and notoriety, rather than collecting strictly what placates to your personal tastes.
