He sure did. He’d tell you when you were being an ass but he was also quick to share info and was sincere in all he did.
Hummm, looks like it's been a little over 15 years for me! Chris, you are missed by so many, the only boardie to officially have a trademark of Mr. Grumpy . It's great to see the Board has existed for so long, and to "meet" you all and share our interests and non interests. I've learned a lot about Kaiju as well as people. Thank you Brian for creating and keeping this playground going! I first boarded this crazy ship of goodness when all of the Uglydoll forums met their demise. Was warned about gruff and cut throat atmosphere, but it's been the exact opposite! Everyone is civil and so helpful, as well as very very amusing. Group kumbaya hugs to you all!
I hit 10 years this past April, which is fuckin’ crazy to think that much time has already passed. I love this board. I love contributing in what little ways I can. I love what everyone here has done for me and for this hobby, the information, the vast knowledge, teaching, educating, friendship. Makes it even more special to me that I didn’t know about this board until Amy told me about it, so I really have her to thank, which I have in the past but am doing so again now. And for me, when it comes to Chris, I felt so achieved when he went out of his way to momentarily gab with me about old Nikes somewhere in here. Dude was vicious for all the right reasons, but was cool as shit when there was a common thread found with him. I hope this place remains in tact for the entirety of the internet’s lifespan.
