Yep, they tried a new 99 cent menu awhile back (2002 maybe), same time the rodeo burder made its debut I think. They were just like Jack in The Box's: Deep fried and 2 for a buck with hot lettuce.

 

I loved the salsa for the BK tacos.

 

Wait, the whole taco was deep fried?

 

Yuuuuup with 1 square of American cheese too no less! I asked for no lettuce myself, but 2 for a buck meant $5 could destroy my stomach, heart and rectum all at once!

Yeah, that makes Taco Bell seem like health food.

 

T-Bells newest concoction- Shredded cheese on a little tortilla for a dollar, not heated up long enough to melt.
That's what I make when I open up my fridge and I'm out of groceries.
