I agree, just a regular release would be nice.

 

beyond the skull...no other releases? or was this project shelved?

 

The project is not shelved. Actually Balzac and Hiddy are currently in discussions for the next one! The schedule was pushed back in the early Fall due to the band's touring schedule. We were initially going to go for it this month, but it's a bad time of year with Xmas coming up and lots of other merch. being on sale right now. We felt everyone's wallets would be happier if we aimed for January for the next one.

Sorry we couldn't keep our schedule of releasing every 3 months... But, I hope the series will actually be better because of it!

 

I think that with the release of the best of, that January would be a better time for this set. This time of year seems to always be the busiest for Balzac releases.

 

nah, no apologies needed - just curious! I fully understand the rigors of maintaining multiple schedules and having things coincide with end of the year madness. My wallet, though, does thank you for the breather

Just posted this over on the Balzac308 BxBxS, but the next figure will be a SkullBxBxB ("Bagman").

Pre-Order will begin on February 14th. I don't have confirmation on the color(s) yet.. but the figures are going to be marbled. Likely black and something (I hope glow!). There will be a regular version, a 4-Seasons of the Dead special bag + blood splatter version (not sure if they are all bloody or only some - perhaps we can request), and a Secret Base-only bag version (my guess is we won't be selling this one through SxWxW).

They will ship March 8th. I will post more info when I have it - just wanted to let you guys know we didn't abandon the project!... we were just REALLY slow!

I don't think we got pics of the skulls until well after the pre-order. All i need to know is bagman and marbled.

Wait how is that a 'zing'? Doesn't secretbase make both toys? And aren't a lot of secretbase toys going through a marbling phase right now? (obake dogs/pirates/wings etc)

I think this release is great and marble toys and skulls made in Japan are great, carry on.
