i'm thinking about starting a second blog that will have photos on it of bathroom graffiti (don't tell me if there is one out there, i just want to do it for me haha)

anyway, some graffiti has people's phone numbers on it. you know, the classic "for a good time, call ....."

anyway, is it wrong of me to post an image of that on a public blog? i mean, it is on a public bathroom wall

and beyond the morals of it, could i get in trouble if those numbers are for real?

Personally, I would use 'blur' tool or clone stamp in photoshop to edit phone numbers out, without ruining the image.
I'm sure plenty of these were written maliciously in bathrooms...getting back at ex girlfriends and such. So probably best to spare the unknowing victim the knowledge that their phone number is on a blog. Your blog could get picked up by boingboing or another popular site and it would get thousands of hits.

...or just call them and ask

...and stop hanging out in public bathrooms :?

I'd just blur or distort the actual number in case, I don't think it'd ruin the overall feel and I also think it's a HILARIOUS idea.

Is it really worth braving all those public restrooms just to get some pics for your blog?

I have no idea why someone would brave dirty public restrooms to do this. However, there's probably someone out there taking pictures of bathroom graffitti who thinks the same thing about importing Japanse toys. Enjoy your new life in both worlds, Pickleloaf.

Ah, I use enough public restrooms and see enough graffiti to make it interesting

plus, sometimes you gotta sacrifice for your art!
