true true... my question,,what sort of bat-cam does he have to get pics of the cases at mandarake?? sneaky sneaky
I'm guessing dude's Special Ops super secret Ninja stylee . . . retinal cameras and all that cool James Bond stuff!
No special set up for the picture. This was a display window outside of the shop in Nakano. The Be@rbricks weren't from Mandarake.
oops,,,forgot about the display windows at nakano..guess they can't really monitor those... maybe not so sneaky after all
They actually do come out of the store to warn you... I once asked the reasons behind the policy, and all they could tell me was that "they had been used inappropriately in the past"...
I'm not really sure how you could use them inappropriately unless someone is taking pictures of the manga child porn and showing the police, but then they post it freely on their web site. If anything, if I could take pictures and post here I'm sure it could generate sales, but I guess they don't need little old me to do that?
You could take a shot of a rare item in store, list on a site and claim it is yours. Not sure why that would bother them but if they are really looking out for collectors then that is cool. I also think part of that is to get sales as well though.
