A Nag Pa I Root (NAGNAGNAG) and der Angora Patio

Worst idea ever.

That Nag has so much life to it, its creepy. Seriously looks like its bound in flesh and that blood seems like its still moist.
Moist.

This new version looks great! From Coop's shot it looks a bit different from the original Bad Meat versions.... The first ones had a subtle and very creepy undercoating of greenish-greyish blotches that sort of "seeped through" the bloody flesh tones. Those areas nicely / grossly resembled spoiled food, but I don't think I can detect that treatment in Coop's photo.

 

This run did have those greyish green splotchiness but some had it more than others. Each toy was pretty unique in the way that it was painted. Some had more red on the lips while others had more of a bloody look. Each one definitely looked like they intentionally painted to be individuals.

 

Thanks for that extra info! I love that type of individual personality in these toys. It speaks volumes for the artist as well as the figure itself. Not to add to the hype machine of course....

 

So when are you guy dropping the 'Ball?!

 

I would be overjoyed to just get my hands on a regular release. The four eyes, two faces, hair etc. are great. But I'm partial to just a plain old regular Nag. Veitnam color would do very nicely for me.

Memorial Day Madball Nag Release?! YES?! PLEASE?!
First thing I'm going to do with this is take a picture of it in a sno-cone cup.

Sounds like it's gonna be pretty spectacular.

 

So it takes a whole day to paint, psht, I don't understand why he makes so few then. There's 365 days in a year, what the fuck?!

Wow from what I hear here it must be great to be toy artist.
Wish I'm a toy artist that dont have to go working on real job and have the whole day and hour just make and paint toys...... And makes a lot of money to live in Japan....

Maybe it just to expression how difficult the paint job or the time he have to paint all the toys.
Don't think shigeru have the whole week just to paint toys and do nothing else.
(maybe I'm wrong, never sell toys maybe it makes money more than I though)

Live in Japan is way too different, most people have to work until 10-12 before leaving office or works. Have some friend from Japan that came to Indonesia and talk about how the live in Japan.
Many are stressed when the holiday end.....

 

NAG BALLS...sounds like something that you need a cream for

 

A lot of these guys HAVE "regular jobs" and I don't think they're making fortunes from these toys.

 

Yes, that why I think that shigeru does need free time to paint his toys and with the hectic work time in Japan. I doubt he can finish 30 mad ball in a week. So I wont be surprise if it does take a month to complete the 20 edition release + the art work.

 

I've got Nag Balls from being sat in a car for 10 hours AND the fact that I was away from the board for a few days and this thread was on page 2. For a moment I thought it might have been deleted!
