First off, you are assumptive to the point of lunacy. Shig has no idea who I am so it might have been a bit hard for him to message me directly. Second, people are acting like Walter winning must have been rigged. This is laughable and I find it very sad to see people so sure of something when they are only guessing. Did it ever occur to anyone that Shig may have thought up the header idea for Walter after Walter won a spot? Maybe Shig did give Walter a free win but you DON"T know and to assume it says it all. lastly, The fact you brought up race points clearly to that thought being in your mind. People without a streak of racism don't just interject it into conversations because they wonder something. I don't EVER ask if the party in question is Asian, Latin or anything else because I know unless we are discussing sickle cell anemia it is irrelevant to the situation. In all, statements like yours make me see why so many old timers talk about a sense of enlightenment and whining that casts a shadow over the otherwise amazing place SB is for JP vinyl collectors. Grow up and enjoy your toys.

I think you missed that everyone that won is a SB member and had their board name printed on the header. People not on SB did not stand a chance. Which means he could of just sent everyone he picked a private message asking them if they wanted to buy one instead up pretending to do a lottery.

Only 3 or 4 people on SB have said they won(I think the run was 13). I don't think that means it was rigged.

I think you missed that every single entry asked for a nickname, not a SB forum member name. Therefore the headers, including mine were printed after the lottery ended with the names Shig only had after we entered. Only 3 have been claimed by SB forum members. I have no connections and have never spoken to Shigeru. Your logic fails, painfully.

That Marusan Hedorah was the first thing I bought from a fellow board member here (since banned, alas.) Always loved the sculpt. That paint job would be perfect even if it didn't quote Coop's screen print, but the fact that it does makes it even cooler.

they're just toys guys. I haven't won any lotteries but would be happy to win one in the future. I dont know if the system is rigged and don't care. I'll enter lotteries like everyone else. If i get chosen then hooray! if not then i'll look forward to the next release.

I called you assumptive and racist, two charges that your own statements prove to be true to one extent or another. Where exactly was I kissing Shig's ass prior to winning this lotto? On the contrary I was one of many wishing for an open run and have myself questioned lottery results. If Shig picked me just to prove me wrong, well I'll take it. I'm so glad other haters are backing your disillusionment, have fun complaining about this all to them in pm's. Yawn.... can we get back to toys?

Right How dare I say I like the work Greg or Lamour do.... This argument is about as pointless as can be. First off, why would people who don't like the toy, the work or Shigeru be entering the lottery? People who actually like the toy won? Oh no, far better for them to go to cynical whiners. Second, all I ever did was ask people to stop bitching about Mishka's involvement. If Shig wants to work with them, fine. If they are part of the project, they should probably get one of the toys. What's the issue and where is all this ass kissing? If I ever start to view collecting in this light I hope I am smart enough to put my wallet away and find a hobby that makes me happy. It's obvious to all but yourself that you are jealous, butthurt or some combination of the two. I have been jealous of those who won in the past, but also happy that they won. I have lost every NAG lottery before this and somehow I managed not to act in such a manner. I'm done with this discussion but I will continue to enter the lotteries and enjoy good toys, regardless of nerd rage surrounding them.

I wish this was true, I have nag tattoo'd across my whole rib cage and I still haven't won a lotto. WTF's a guy gotta do. I love Shigs work, and everyone who has worked on these projects (except tara) Wether I own one or not I think the Nag releases are always pushing to do something different. I think Shig takes more risks than anyone and I appreciate that.
