Yes drawings and extra eyes. One other thing I noticed is the type of vinyl used. The longneck moon from my personal collection is squishy vinyl. Longneck's NYCC moon was made in hard vinyl. Not sure if i want to call these One-off's or just very special regular runs...

There is a first time for everything. Remember M-world offering the NYCC exclusive SHB, Karzworks and Wombat? M-world priced them all at retail just like it was the case with these longneck's. Yes, the price included a very small commission fee, but thats it..

 

M-W usually takes 1/3rd - 1/4th of the price as a commission. I won't call it a very small commission, unless I am in the flipping business.

 

It doesn't matter if he priced them over $1000 because no one did or will buy them.

My next release, I'm going to price at $10,000. None will sell, but I will then hold the most expensive toy record

 

Y'all need to get with galleries, I wonder which one of these turkeys will have a show in the Armory first? ;D

I once tried to sell a Dummy disguised as a nag for 1K on ebay. Does that count ?

Maybe you should try again, after all "dat crowd" has been zero'ing in on Nags for a while now...

 

...PART of me actually thinks those Yusei will sell. People love that toy. A lot.

AND the guys behind it are doing the ole NNN schtick for releases - lots of releases and versions to keep the hype/press, not many made to keep interest going and sell 'em at a high price to begin with.

An easy formula to follow i guess. BUT it does need a cool piece behind it. And yeah, i think the Yusei is a damn cool piece.

 

So they didn't sell at NYCC and now they are being offered(flipped) for over $1000...seems about right

...the Man-E-Toys post implied they were only for show at NYCC, and are only now for sale by M-World.

So is an official sale by a flipper, a flipper sale? OR an official sale, that just happens to be buy a flipper? I always suck at philosophy, so i'll leave the answer to the board...

thanks for the info Joe! And if they were the same price at NYCC, well i guess that makes the M-World sale, a regular sale, that just happens to be carried out by a flipper.

Now to see IF they actually sell. Or maybe end up at Mandrake for double the price in a month or so...?
