    Access Hip Hop Closing :(
    Access is closing...

It hasn't really sunk in for me personally, but it is with great sadness and a sense of pride that we are announcing our store will be closing the doors soon. We're still getting new releases in the coming weeks and we'll still drop a newsletter in your inbox moving forward as we work out all the details. We thank all of our loyal fans, friends and fam who supported us over the years and we hope to see many of you for a visit in the coming weeks. So be on the look out for rare stuff getting restocked and read more below about our closing sale deals.

Since 2001, Access Music has been San Diego's hip hop record store. However, we will be closing our physical location in Pacific Beach at 1537 Garnet Ave. soon. The last day of business has not been set yet, but will probably be early November. The online store will continue to operate at

A closing sale, starting at 10% off, will be in effect at our physical store starting Wednesday, September 28. The discount rate will increase over time, but the most desired items will go first, so don't hold out for bigger savings.

The sale will not apply to the latest new releases, certain consignment items, and prices on our website. Please note: all sales are final during this period; no returns for discounted items.

Online customers: if you are looking to place a large order, email us ( and we will hook you up with the current closing sale discounts.

We will also be selling some CDs and vinyl that have been played in the store (check the restocks page ( ), posters, and some of our store's furniture and equipment. These items will not be made available all at once, so check back for updates.
