Starting a thread here for HK-based Action Toys. They first caught my eye a few years back with their take on some of the Mazinger Z characters. Though I'm not much of a Mazinger fan, there were a few occasions when I had my finger on the trigger over their Garada K7 (this tiny pic is the best one I could find of him, sorry): As some o' youse are probably aware, Action Toys partnered with Fewture/Art Storm last year to announce a Red Shoes Club-originated project, the "Big Hero" jumbo Kamen Rider No. 1. A whopping 80cm tall; beautifully sculpted; 9 points of articulation (including cut joints at the gloves and boot-tops), and gorgeously replicated compound eyes... supercool, absolute stunner:
Jesus, that Kamen Rider is phenomenal! The Garada looks amazing, as well! I admittedly wouldn’t go out of my way to collect either, or probably any future releases, but I am assuredly goin’ to be keepin’ up on this thread!
