AIDS WALK LOS ANGELES - A meaningful Post :)
    Hello Brainers,

I am participating with other members of my family in this Sunday's AIDS Walk in downtown LA. We are walking in memory of my late Uncle Rob who was a champion for gay rights and lost his battle with AIDS just over 20 years ago. The Walk happens to fall on the weekend of National Coming Out Day, which my Uncle co-created.

I’ve made it halfway to my fundraising goal of $300 for AIDS Walk Los Angeles! With generous donations such as yours, I’ll be able to reach it – and exceed it – in no time!

Help me get there and help Team Rob Eichberg meet and surpass our team goal by Sunday's walk. We are so close to our goal but we want to blow our goal away!

    What will your donation do?
    • $25 = 3 HIV tests to help people know their status
    • $50 = 18 bags of groceries for families affected by HIV/AIDS
    • $100 = 6 monthly bus passes for those with HIV/AIDS who require transportation assistance
    • $500 = 10 dental checkups for clients in need
    • $1,000 = 1,000 safer sex kits to stop the spread of HIV

To securely donate online, visit my personal donation page at: http://la.aidswalk.net/adameichberg

If you prefer, checks for any amount can be made out to "AWLA" with my name in the memo and sent to:

    AIDS Walk Los Angeles
    P.O. Box 933005
    Los Angeles, CA 90093.

    Thank you for your consideration!

Visit my personal fundraising web page and sponsor me today! http://la.aidswalk.net/adameichberg

    Thanks guys and gals!

Feel free to post on other sites or share with people who might be interested in giving a donation.... Sorry no Sofubi donations here.

Just speaking from what you wrote, your uncle sounds like he made the most of the life he had left. It's wonderful of you to continue honoring him and his cause even though he's no longer here. There are many who won't even do that during their sick family member's lifetime. It's very cool of ya and I bet he'd be proud.

I hope y'all have a great walk later today with a big turnout. Wish ya my best.

Thanks man! That was really nice to read. It was hot as hell yesterday but we finished the walk. There were so many people who participated. It was really something and you felt the positivity throughout the entire day.

I know Uncle Robbie was proud of his family and our friends yesterday.

    Thanks again!
