    Fuck, my airbrush is broken.
When I press down on the trigger, it goes down and hardly comes back up.
    It's stuck for some reason.
    Just keeps spitting air.

Its probably just got some paint dried up in the trigger mechanism and the needle isn't moving correctly. Mine gets gummed up every so often depending on how thoroughly I clean it.

Have you taken it apart and cleaned to real good with acetone? Take everything you can apart and clean them. Get some pipe-cleaner style brushes and scrub the insides out... and then there is airbrush lubricant that you can use on the trigger and needle to help them move freely.

what make and model is your brush?

    hope this all helps joe.

Hmm, I always clean my airbrush inside and out after each time I paint.
Even w/ the needle out, the trigger won't push down on the pin that connects to the air hose.
Well, it hardly pushes it down now and it gets stuck and won't come back up.

Hmm, maybe that airbrush lubricant can help.
    I'm using the Iwata HPC+.

    Thanks for the info though.
    I'm tired of painting...

Take it apart. Underneith the trigger and between the area where the hose comes in there is a pin that goes through a little rubber gasket. Paint may be dried up on that. So whenyou press down the air pressure cant make the pin push back up.

So take it apart and unscrew the air hose and you will see it and be able to fool with it. Clean it out and lube the gasket.

    Lube will help

I add a little lube at least once a month. I have an hpc that's 15 years old and it's still kicking. The trigger's been stuck a couple of times but it's easily fixable. No need to panic

I've run into this problem after cleaning stuck in paint using Acetone.
The Acetone dripped down there and dissolved the little rubber washer. I just picked up a new one and replaced it and everything was AOK. I'm actually having the same problem again and need to take a trip to the art store.
