Calorie and fat wise it's lower than most of the fast food sandwiches out there. Sodium levels are a little higher than the plain burgers, but if you're ordering the "premium" sandwiches at McDonalds or the six-dollar burgers (or practically anything) at Carls Jr. then it's on oar with sodium but way less fat and calories. I haven't bought a KFC one yet, but the hubby and I did make some for dinner the other. Everything but the special sauce. It was damn tasty. And at the cost of the ingredients + time to make it, I'd rather just go across the street to KFC. Here's mine:
I loved mine! I think it may be a "by location" thing too. My friend hated his and thought he'e love it BUT he said it was made bad and it might have been the particular KFC he hit. All I know is I'm getting another.
Sooo wrong . . . yet sooo right! Hey Joe . . . you could work off those calories by walking to the Post Office maybe!
That thing (KFC DD) gives me heart palpitations just looking at it. It should come with a warning: do not eat if you're above the age of 30 and don't exercise regularly. One thing I've learned since turning 40- shitty food stays with you longer in more ways than one. That's why I wait till my buddy from NYC comes for a visit (next month) to do my bad eating. Buffalo has all kinds of crappy food and we plan to binge on it while being completely knackered for a week. Garbage plates... lol.
