    So, did you ever get a sofubi toy that you have not seen in person and thought, "that was different than what I expected, but in the best way"?

    So yeah...
    I'll start. T9G's Monkey King. Much smaller than I thought, but so much more charming as well. Now I want more.

    I was that way with Wing Kong. The sculpt didn't really do anything for me until I was sent the SSSS version as a member. My feelings changed almost immediately after having him in hand.

    I'm pretty sure there was never a full painted release (its called 'Manryoneko' btw).
    There were a few with doodles drawn on them as far as i recall, the blue one has a few sprays of metallic, the other is unpainted GID.
    I think this was the only two colorways, from what i remember the maker 'Yamazakura' retired early to raise a family or something . . .
