Hey everyone! I have a project for my Studio Art class that was not accepted because a label in the picture needed to be blurred out or needed to have the lettering changed. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Dylan
I was using Word at my school to put text in the picture, which worked out well.. But the text isn't the problem. There is a bottle in the picture and I need to blur out or remove the label. I don't have any photo editing programs, though.
If you are using Word, I would imagine you'd be able to add text over the label. Maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing thing in the world, but I'm sure it'd skew the label enough.
I don't know your entire situation but I'm sure there's a lab somewhere in your school with photoshop on it.
I can't check because I'm on my phone, but I think you can do it if you upload it to photobucket. I think their editor might have a blur tool.
In case you still looking for a solution, try flickr and edit your pic online with Picnic. In the Create section, you may look at the Geometric section for some basic shapes to block out parts of the image. There are other effects you could play with as well, but this is what I could find in 30 sec.
Photobucket has a blur tool for sure. Or just open the pic in paint, grab the background label color, and paint over the offending lettering.
I did it! I used Photobucket to twirl the writing. Thanks so much everyone! Your help was greatly appreciated!
if you ever need more image editing tools, check out the gimp : http://www.gimp.org/ it is free software , and it does pretty much anything photoshop can do
