Introducing the Freaks by Bombastic Plastic. These are just paint tests right now. The different characters will have different colorways and accessories. The first colorway seen here will be Terry, dropping at five points fest 2023.

These are awesome. Such a fun looking gang of freaks!!

 

I agree with @Bob . These just scream "fun" and "toy," but the part that has me the most excited is ACCESSORIES. I love toys with omakes or accessories!

Bravo. Love the sculpts and this lovely, smooth n' mellow, unfussy first colorway.
I'm gonna have to grab an Ian, at least, to hang with my other cylcopean friends.

 

I keep coming back to this thread to take a peek, I'm seeing notes of where the wild things are, my pet monster ... the sculpting is really good, its a very confident looking style. I really like them ... great paint choices too. It suits the characters.

 

So I’m guessing I’m not the only one who thought “these are the exact opposite of the fugly thread”?
Some makers could sure take a lesson…

I saw you with this at some point at Mikee’s house, and I didn’t realize what it was. But seeing this thread those look really nice and well made. They aren’t my style per say, but they look professional- the sculpts look clean and well done as does the paint. I’m definitely seeing my pet monster, muppets, and Where the wild things are. I can picture it in lots of different colorways in my mind. Definitely cool.

 

Seeing the test in hand I was beyond stoked on these new sculpts I can’t wait to see what all you do with them my dude. Well done.

I decided to give my boys some clothes. I like sewing and the soft nature of fabric adds so much more to the toys.

Looks great, so much wonderful texture

 

Bought a Bubbie on eBay, it’s now pretty much my favorite thing. It’s red with a heart on its butt. Fits perfectly in my pockets. I think I’ll need more in the future!

The dino pictured I think is actually suragamark's (sluggertoy's) dino

 

Not mine, love Suragamark! There are and, will be more of my toys for sale in a couple Japanese Taiwanese toy shops.

I’m pretty sure @Urk pulls those in USA in his studio.
