If i had the cash I'd get it! I think its betting then buying the Horvath "customs" I like their work but I could have got my burger buns doodle at sdcc for free. I really appreciate someone like Biskup bringing fine art into the toy world, I definitely would like to see the piece in person, there's probably not much underneath it but the piece was about the process. Art collectors have spent millions on concept/conceptual pieces that our even less than this.
I was tempted to get the biskup, the concept really makes it interesting. The Horvath customs were a massive let down, i was hoping for something good from him.
considered the Biskup but i would have a little target practice with it using a squirt gun & acetone before it made it to display
since the box got kid gloves treatment why did no one just beat the hell out of the box before the show???now that would have been one hell of a concept
will this one ship out in the box of nails for a second try? then the buyer could take out some aggression on said box before opening it themselves, just to make sure it worked the second time. i'd do it, but i'm broke.
no dropping a box on the ground to have it spill open and flood the ground with human eye balls is an oops (actual UPS horror story)
For those of you who may be interested, it has arrived and is DEFINITELY a boot. Vinyl Burgerbuns' bottom half "seems" to be inside a similarly-shaped harder shell, while the top half seems to be 100% boot. Thing is a brick. The guns "seem" to have been attached to the arm sockets at one point and have been (purposefully????) broken off. Oh, and the thing on top of his head is Sucklord's Boba Fett-style mask.
Just had an email from super 7 to say that they had sold the skinner buns twice and that i was the second order Really disappointed right now!
