I really like there Ultraman and other hero figures. The proportions are just off enough to make them charm my pants off. It's actually 13cm.. regular Buta-sized.
And the gray on red. There were also the ultra7 and other ultra guy sculpts as well. I feel like there may have been another red/gray other than the standard regular style one... don't know for sure though.
I've got a question I've been wondering about for a while and this seems like a relatively appropriate place for it. What's the story with the Butanohana x Gargamel Thrashman? I assume he's a bootleg Ultraman? Where'd the name come from? Any other miscellaneous information? Several color variations but here's one that looks most Ultraman-ish. and another w/ different variations pics from Fiends Ain't Family
Great eye marswillrule. At first I was like, "He looks angry." But now that you mention it, the "angry" eyes are a dead giveaway too. I really like this guy.
Thrash man has always been the dshopp chafarver fo Thrash Out and has been done in several configurations and colors - this one most deftly leans to Uman. I love BHH's dudes, his Thunder Mask, his Vacuum cleaner guy and some older pachi hero stuff had assays been on my want list, Further out on a limb the Gargamel Shop/Studio in Koenji is call Thrash Out - perhaps a nod to the previous proprietors penchant for always playing thrash music in the store. Going out on a limb the Japanese vinyl process is called Slush molding - in romanzied japanese Slush and Thrash sound very similar.
Cool! This is how he should look like. The previous release with Gargamel were missing the black lines.
A pic of my Buta heroes update for reference for some of you who might want to know: Missing out on the GID Vacuum lady and I think a couple more.
