I collect other things. These I found cleaning out my 103 year old grandmothers room in Gifu japan. Are they valuable? How would I go about selling them?
For real? Thought you were a collector?! Thanks for being a dick and coming here just to get info to sell them. Now I regret even telling you what they are. Man what the fuck is up with this board ??!!!!! I'm so fucking sick of people coming here just to get info to sell whether it be new toys or old.
Yeah, what was it I was saying? If you want to sell them to someone who appreciates them put them up for sale here. A few of us like myself collect this sort of thing and might be interested. And no, they are not terribly valuable. These are mass-produced toys made just a few decades ago. If money is what you are after I suggest trying somewhere's else.
I don't know the etiquette here. Is it somehow un-cool to ask ones who know about they are and what to do with these things?
This is a collectors forum. It's kind of uncool to sign up just to ask value. We have so many people signing up here to find out what's hot or valuable to profit off of people here who truly collect.
I do apologize. Passions run high here! I'm totally uneducated in this corner of the universe. I found these things a few days ago and saw they were very cool and I thought I would ask the experts... any help understanding these guys is much appreciated.
Really, is it not cool to ask for a price check on vintage figures? Reading through this thread, I'm a little surprised myself since I thought that was a fairly common thing to do. It's not like he's asking for market value on some figure that was released last week. If you don't know who these characters are, how are you ever supposed to find out? I'll admit that the OP's question could have been phrased a bit more tactfully, but that's about it.
