Not sure if this belongs here or the robot forum, but since the Astro-Mu stuff usually falls here, then here I'll post this. I had previously posted these pics on Robot Japan Forum, but since few here probably venture there (again with the here and there?), I thought I'd toss these up. Just a quick note for those who haven't read nekrodave's review at CollectionDX or are unfamiliar with this toy - the hole in the neck is for smaller Astro-Mu dudes to peer out of when placed within the body (the head removes). Mine came with 8 missiles (and another from something else) - perfect for placing in the chest. I'll just let the photos do the rest of the talking: (P.S., this isn't the rarest Jumbo or even one in great condition, but it is cool as hell, so there!)
such a killer jumbo ! it has such an old school look to it . kinda reminds me of those 50 s tin robots but better .
Fantastic score.... one I'd like to get eventually. I also would like to know if yours came with the minis... that's one of the raddest parts of this toy: it comes with targets.
No, unfortunately, I didn't get any minis withi it. But for the price, I can't complain. I'll just have to pick some up loose.
The guns could take an eye out! The strongest missiles on any jumbo I have had. Did the picture story book come with? Great score. IKe
