Cash4Gold Response Letter to fake gold

They have ads on TV - You send them your gold and they send you cash. Sounds like a scam to me, but a big budget scam...

 

Could the scam be it is just a large FENCING organization?

Say I burglarize my neighbor and steal her gold necklace. Local Police check local pawn shops for stolen loot. Not a smelter in S. Florida....

 

Exactly. I'm pretty sure thiefs are probably their biggest clients.

 

With Kijiji and Craigslist and what not, fencing has never been easier these days

 

Theres even a site devoted to reposting people tweets, and status' that say when they're going out of town and stuff.

 

ugh.... seriously? fuck that. that's why I don't tell anyone when i'm going out of town..... including my wife.
