http://www.siskelfilmcenter.org/castlesinthesky studio ghibli film festival, throughout june and july, at the siskel center! it's short notice, but first movie up is "nausciäa" and the ONLY jp language with subtitles showing is tomorrow (friday, jun 8th) night at 6 pm. i'm planning on heading over straight after work, as i'm less than a block from siskel... anyone else interested in going tomorrow? i guess i could also mention we've got a little bit of time for further planning on other movies...
I think we could actually try to plan for the Friday showing of Kiki's delivery service. I loves me some Ghibli!
holy shit guys! today is tuesday, and "kiki's" is showing on friday! does that give us enough time to plan anything? PROBABLY NOT!! WE NEED MORE TIME!!! (<- note the third exclamation point for emphasis) michelle and i are definitely going, then probably finding something to eat afterwards. (she's brought up slurping turtle again recently, but getting in there with a group on a friday night may be a bit problematic.) should i keep an eye out for anyone else on friday?
