Clear pink

XXX-La could inspire a great ero-guro kaiju movie.
I always found Rainbow's choice for secondary colors original, but this Kibageruge really came as a big surprise.

As I shot indooor, I put the light source at the back, over the toys, so that the light goes through the clear vinyl towards the camera. The background helped me too with its curve.

If you do the opposite, you will have a lot of shiny reflections on the vinyl and only a slight effect of transparency.

Do not hesitate to overexpose a bit too.

And you might try to use multiple lightsources. I should have on the 1st pic to remove the shadowy effect at the periphery.

i hope to have one of the It's a Girl pirates one day. Love the shade of pink that accents the pirate's patch etc.

 

Pink really gives toys that childish feeling IMO. I love green or pink toys and together they look even better.
