Exactly what I'd laike to see as well. I hope it's not smaller than the Boogie as someone mentioned. Having said that, my interest kinda went from WOW to being on the fence. After seeing it painted up and a glimpse of the price I seem to be getting turned off more and more.
That's funny, I was able to snag the other 8. I was going to flip them, but since this is Skullbrain and we're a tight community. I'll trade them off for 2 headed Bemon, HP Marine Kongs, or CKA gorillas.
it's not doing anything for me either! this just seems to be going 2 steps backwards compared to lamours boogie and the 1/2 painted 1/2 clear with guts that came out not too long ago
agreed... even tho' I loooove me some Cure...!!! can't get enough of those beautiful boogie's and suckflys...!!! not sure why but this frankenberry fucker is just not hitting the right chords with me for some reason... would never spit or piss on a free one.. I just can't see me ever spending any money on one...
Ordered one of the non-painted, super excited about this guy. I think he's fun in a cure/general mills/ goofy figure. He's a nice variety from the Boogie Men.
I can't figure out if that's a compliment or not? I think it's cool. I think the "evil and dark muwahahaha" shit get's silly and dumb and this goofier figure works really well. It's got charm that a lot of early SB and "neo-kaiju" type figures had early on .
I know what you mean. The sinister and serious stuff gets old sometimes. I think I'm in some kind of transitional phase or something cause this sculpt runs cold and later on when I look at it again it seems hot. Izzat weird?
That's collecting if you ask me, there are some things I've seen I hated, and then I either saw it in person or saw a different picture of it and loved it. PopSoda is the first example that comes to mind.
I wasn't into this figure at all when I first saw it online, but once I handled it in person it's definitely become one of favorite new sculpts. Just awesome detail and tons of character with loads of articulation too. I'm probably going to wait for a really mind-blowing version before I bite the bullet on one, but that unpainted red really has it's appeal..
what sort of articulation does it have?? from pics,,the arms look pretty stiff... are the wrists articulated??
It's not my thing (nor was the Boogie) but I can appreciate both of them. As with the Boogie, Cure seems to be very detail-oriented. I'm curious what Bounty Hunter fans think? I think it would look great in with a BH collection.
