"Have you ever wondered what would sound like if had written it for NES, instead of for a rock band?" Brad Smith, a programmer from Burlington, Ontario has put together his masterpiece, the entire album by Pink Floyd covered in chiptune. I don't know what to say, other than he did a really good job. It could use more layers in parts, but what he's done is compellingly accurate; it sounds like he's carefully gone over each measure to make it as perfect a rendition as possible. The slide is awesome; you figure if you're covering David Gilmour you have to slide around a lot, and he's done those gradual pitch changes so hilariously well.
