Not sure if anyone has touched on this but one of my favorite games is heading towards the Nintendo Wii.
If your into all thing Zombies or Romero this game is for you. I wonder what the motion control will bring to this game. So much for Xbox exclusives. Can't wait for RE5

I would play this...Wii is hurting for good games. I bought a wii back when they came out and i think I've played it all of maybe 20 times...such waste lol

I seem to have the same problem except when I play those Zombie games like RE4 and the Umbrella Chronicles. Although Mario Galaxy and Wii Kart are great fun can't say that I'm into them greatly. I see that alot of people around here got the Wii Fit but I can only see them using it every so often. Just got done with Metal Gear Solid 4
One of the best games I've played for sometime.

  4. this looks cool. i love zombies. i need something like this for my ps3, which is also a console in need of more great games.

    I agree...
For the PS3 I've got ( which I think these games are pretty good if not excellent)
    Metal Gear Solid 4
Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction
    UnCharted Drakes Fortune
Although playing Blu-Rays are the thing I do most on that console. :D

I haven't broken out the Wii since MarioKart was released
Looking forward to Star Wars something...something and Highlander games out this fall

my problem is I have a 360, and all of my favorite games are shooters. I've yet to try umbrella chronicles, but i don't really like the idea of using my wiimote as a gun...
Funny thing is since i got into toys at the beginning of this year.... i play less and less games everyday. I am expecting that will change once fallout is released tho.

  7. Star Wars the Force Unleashed, comes out in September. Looking forward to that one. Drakes Fortune is fun, although i get to a point where all i'm doing is getting ambushed and killed. So I stopped playing it for awhile. The new Indiana Jones Lego games my current fave.

Would like to see Dead Rising make it to the PS3. MGS4 is a masterpiece, the replay value alone makes it worth the price. Looking forward to RE5 and just in time for October will be Silent Hill 5. Good stuff.

I'm currently (re)playing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I've forgotten how much fun it is, and I love the music.

I hope RE5 doesn't get pushed back like Star Wars Force Unleashed did, (can't wait it play it) but if it's any indication like how much Metal Gear was pushed back it's always a safe bet the game will be brilliant. Look at Godzilla Unleashed for the Wii. What a crap game... could have used some fine tuning. As far as Umbrella Chronicles the Wii Zapper or remote can get pretty tense after while trying to defeat the Boss's

Hey Eric, was Castlevania for the PS3? Don't remember that one... although I have the small PS3 which doesn't have backwards capabilities

C:SotN is amazing. I bought a PSX just to play that game.

Can't wait for the craptastic castlevania fighting game for the wii.

I dont know why Iga thought that was a good idea

I have a backwards compatible PS3 and the PSX Greatest Hits version of C:SOTN. I believe PS3 owners can download Castlevania:SOTN through the PSstore for $9.99. Well worth the $.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was tons of fun. I've recently played The Darkness, Blacksite: Area 51, Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions, and Alone In The Dark (PS2 version). All were fun except AITD, very tedious and somewhat clunky controls. Maybe the upcoming PS3 release will fix some of the bugs and make gameplay a little more enjoyable.

After playing this on 360 I can't imagine going to the Wii. I'm not a graphics whore or anything, it's just there is going to be framerate issues, and there won't be as many Zombies, and I already own the game.

If you don't own a 360 though, and it comes out in the US, go for it, it's a fun game and you won't regret it.

Yeah, i played the demo for it on 360. There is no way this will be a similar experience.

Personally, capcom can do whatever they want....just as long as i get Mega Man 9 before the end of the year.

Has anyone ever noticed the folks you rescue, if bit by several Zombies turn themselves and go after you? That was the icing on the cake for me. The Boss battles are really fun because their twisted as hell.

I like the bookstore so you can learn special combos and even speak Japanese. :D

The weird part for me is that everything that game does right people I FART A LOT about.

You can't finish every mission, it's hard, etc, etc.

if you don't finish every mission go back and play it again, if it's too hard, restart, you keep all your stats. It's my third favorite original game of this generation (MGS4, No More Heroes, then Dead Rising).

Yeah... I do remember a few complaints but the game is one that should be played if you own a 360. Survival horror at it's best.
No More Heroes was brilliant but Killer 7 is my favorite, maybe it's the multiple personalities I got to play. Love the nod to Go Rangers in the game

Suda 51, the director of both of those games, is a genius. Killer 7 was one of the greatest games I've ever played.

I love NMH's too though, it was two completely different tones and each game captured the personality of what it was going for perfectly.

The Wii remote as a cell phone was pretty wild.

Not big on this kind of game, but I do love the point-n-shoot controls for Resident Evil on the Wii. It's a big improvement over the old controls IMO.

RE4 on wii owns the N64 version. The gun aiming with the wii remote is faster than I can even point and click with a mouse. On N64 it had a stupid "shake" for the laser point when you tried to aim that was really annoying, like using a sniper mode in a game where it moves slighty and random. So I prefer the wii. House of the Dead 2 & 3 is also a great game on the wii. Also play mario strikers but I think all consoles are hurting for games now a days. Wii was supposed to be simpler but I think it has a bigger learning curve from game to game than a standard controller.

Really? I played the hell out of Zelda, Mario Kart Wii, shoot even RE4 for it was fun, it was like I was really shooting the crazed Euros with the Wiimote! I've also "downloaded" games, I just needed Kid Chameleon and Bonk.
