This is something I wanted to share with the board as I'm sure some will be interested. It's a little chappel in a church in the heart of Milan, Italy, just a few minutes from the dome. The church is called St. Bernardino alle ossa and inside there's a chappel completely decorated with human skulls and bones. Here are some shots I took today, I first found out about this church years ago when I decided to visit it, unaware of what i'd find inside. I'm not into churches or anything and never really visit any but that day I saw it open and thought well why not have a look. I left in awe, mind blown. are they the skulls and bones of any particular people of importance? i'd love to throw a halloween party in there.
No, from wiki: the church's origins date to 1145, when a hospital and a cemetery were built in front of the basilica of Santo Stefano Maggiore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Bernardino_alle_Ossa

Wow, Rob, thats absolutely amazing. Such a weird but cool way to decorate a church. Thanks for sharing.
