Awards? Really? Can't see what it will bring other than a bunch of pissed off people. Unless no one takes them seriously. Which I'm totally sure will happen.

 

I heard this dude AW177 was nominated as a complete joke. Pretty mean, but kind of funny.

What more can be said about AW177? Nobody mixes professional tracing and hardcore Chinatown stylez like this man. He inspires the asian in all of us.

I agree with you. It's nice to be nominated but in the grand scheme of things I get my rewards from the community I'm active in. Don't need a trophy for that

And Kirkland, yes it seems a few where jokes, and so was some of the nominations.

That's so weird about that AW177 thing.
So his work is considered bad compared to other platform/western designer vinyl people? I mean, it's not really my cup of tea, or anything. But, it doesn't seem like something worth being made fun of by other people doing the same sort of stuff.

I think it's pretty cool so long as everyone takes it as good clean fun...didn't realize people had nominated others as jokes though. That seems pretty low for no reason.

I definitely don't expect to win, but it's definitely an honor to be nominated next to so many other great bloggers. I just wish I could make it out to SDCC for the party!
