I know that the Germans like David Hasslehoff... but is there any evidence that there are any Japanese that like Western Vinyl? I don't think I see any roam the KR boards and I see no [expletive deleted] on YJA.

(sorry if this topic has been brought up before)

I asked this question in Osaka and was told WV is very underground. Based on the prices I saw there recently, and the limited selection. I'd say it's not too popular.

Can't say I blame them, given the outstanding quality (and unparalleled variety) of the toys they produce in Japan. of which J Vinyl represents just a fraction of the total.

back in the day it was big like everywhere else. But Hong Kong stuff of the Lau school in particular is basically finished over here, but american stuff like Kozik, Dalek, Horvath is still around and Toy2R stuff is still around as well.

I think it all depends on where you go...
I saw [expletive deleted] and the like several places while I was shopping...
And a few girls going through them and picking up a few other random things
