OK, in an effort to work up a list of the (now very few! :D :D :D ) Dokugans I'm still missing, it's time to 'put up or shut up' on the Pumpkin Guts Dokugan.

Does the Pumpkin Guts Dokugan exist or not, awreddy?

I've never seen one, never even seen a photo of one here or elsewhere. Someone once posted they believed there was a show pic in K-T's blog with one, but I couldn't find it. I wonder if, at some point, someone simply assumed there 'must' be a PG Dokugan, since there is a PG Blobpi (I made this mistake myself, in assuming there must be a copper Dokugan, just because there's a copper Blobpus.)

I was recently told that the 'Pumpkin Guts Blobpi' is the one I've always thought of as simply the 'Super7 Blobpi,' but that makes me think that, if this is true, then someone at S7 should know for sure whether there is a matching Dokugan!

So, I am inclined to hereby formally declare the Pumpkin Guts Dokugan to be a mythical beast, like the Chimera, the Griffin, the RFSO-priced Toby ... But, I'll be happy to be photographically proven wrong! (Well, partly happy, anyway - Since it's never even appeared here once AFAIK, it surely will not be an easy 'get,' if it turns out that it does exist after all ... )

Anyone know for sure? Brian? We are here presented with another example of the Sagan/Rumsfeld/Tarantino Quandary, in that 'absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.' That is, while a photo could prove the Pumpkin Guts does exist, the fact that no one has a photo of it is not actually proof that it does not exist ... But, if the PG Blobpi was indeed a Super7 special item, presumably S7 should know whether or not there exists a matching Dokugan.

Ok, I don't have a pic, but I definitely saw a pic of it...However, I believe it was made by the blobpus dudes in Japan for a show...so the S7 folks didn't have anything to do with it. May have also just been a one-off, so I guess it's up to you if you want to "count it" in the list or not.

i remember seeing a photo of a dokugan in a very similar paint style to the 'pumpkin guts' pieces S7 made with blobpus, but i dont know what the release details where, or if it was released at all. S7 was not involved with this figure.

I saw it in person, and tried to buy it, in Oct of 06. It does exist but I don't think he ever made an official release. So yeah it counts

To me, that says "Nope, doesn't count!"

One-offs don't count as production - I also don't count the Blob HP pink/green/white one. There has to be a run of, I dunno, 5 or 10 at least before it starts feeling like production ...
