and, speaking of Hagar, post Montrose, I would posit that 3 Lock Box is perhaps one of his greatest achievements. Play it and TRY not to rock-IT CANNOT BE DONE. FACT.
only if they are Reptilians...and finer than frog hair. The real life question is interesting. I guess it depends if you subscribe to the Platonic Ideal theory of reality or the Platonic Realism theory of reality. Personally, I am a big fan of sandwiches.
also it just hit me, aren't you the guy who showed up at a flippers house and had a talk with his mom? is this whole thread some kind of verbal preview for your new toy the 2 faced kozik monster?
not about his flipping, rather his outright fraud and theft. I'm ok with flippers to a certain level. They want to spend a week waiting inline in the rain, I guess they earned a 50 dollar profit. But fraud and theft is a whole 'nother level. and yes, I design, manufacture and sell 'toys'. sucks, don't it. I have also been collecting since the mid 80's..and ODDLY ENOUGH this particular part of Skullbrain has my name in the title. Perhaps the Powers That Be will see fit to remove it. Then, another ballgame. It's all just a tiny part of the Reptilian Plan. FACT.
Unless you are referring to people that live in houses without roofs and meant to type "online" I think I can't follow you.
the ones that will drive across state to a convention, sleep in a crappy room, wait in line to get in, wait in line to get the piece. that kind. Seems like a lot of bother and expense to make a slim profit. and if someone camps out all day and wears out his keyboard, I guess that is also effort, in a way, but less. but it is a vicious cycle. flippers drive popularity, popularity drives flippers. how do you break the chain? theres no way unless you just make 3 pieces and sell them in person with some oath or something. I will occasionally buy from a flipper if I wasnt able to go to an event, or win a lottery or whatever, if I really want the piece.
Frank if you sell me that new Bootleg I'll totally sign an oath I hope toys move to 1-yr subscriptions + small drops so big fans can lock in their purchases, an artist gets a lump sum upfront, new people have a small chance, and the market can be controlled by the person making the stuff.
so you are okay with people being here to damage the community?A community you are now TRYING to be part of again?Mr. Magoo could see the $$$ signs in your eyes with his closed, You must have been given a down payment for your work on the bootlegs because you got the mishka attitude down hard
i'm more terence mckenna than david icke what's this new toy your making, is it Reptilian? give us a backstory, make us love it as much as you do
Flippin profits can be slim to none. You take your chances when you wanna be that guy. I've bought many items from flippers at or below retail cause they overextended or just needed the cash. Flippin aint easy.
Oh, well you will definitely get one then. We've all got our fingers crossed for you. Seriously, posts like this are the reason people are fed up with SB these days. That is a terrible idea. And in practice has been shown to be a bust. No one wants to buy unknown toys for a huge amount of money upfront, and are locked in from all other purchases. Nevermind all the people who will get none then. What a selfish way to look at it.
I only know of four subscriptions right now, the Bog subscription yielded great results for the money and helped the toy get made, Jesse Hernandez is on his second round of subscriptions with subscribers basically getting all his releases at retail plus some exclusive art, threeA is still a pretty big deal, and super7 which I know nothing about. edit: also ppl like lucky bags which is similar - a big amount of money upfront for unknown stuff from a company you love
I've been trying to think of what this thread was missing...I've come to the conclusion that it needs more cigarettes.
Great examples you picked. Try and remember you are posting on Skullbrain, I can see how you might easily get confused though. And, I can't believe I am even discussing this, but that is equally an awful idea for any 'new' people. Unless you happen on to the info at exactly the right time, and have a wad of cash to drop, you will be SOL. Then, if you are one of the unfortunate masses who isn't on subscription, good luck getting on "the list" after waiting a year when the time does come.
