Resurrecting this topic because I was wondering if anyone saved the heater group shot Flynn posted. I had saved it but my hard drive got accidentally wiped clean a few months ago...love that pic.

I love the design on these guys, but the price has always seemed high to me for such 'eh' colorways.

The paint jobs are nice on these. Get yourself A GID version. You usually can find them cheaply, and often show up in sales threads.

I wonder what happened to Emupaiya...doesn't seem like they've released anything in a while.

I love the Heaters! These are the ones I have:
    Heater King (gold metallic)
    Heater King (silver metallic)
    Heater Robo (GID)
    Heater Robo (blue metallic)
    Heater Robo (red metallic)

I really want a Heater Robo PINK or any others I didn't list above.
Super7 still has the blue, gid and King silver.

I picked up a Heater King GID unpainted and a Heater King GID with pink spray a while back.

I just found the PINK and the YELLOW versions on Ebay.
$110 for the pair (plus $20 shipping).
No too bad... Only 25 of each version.

I'm sad about this. Ever since the King Heaters came out not much by them. Personally I like the old school versions of the heaters better. I did see a pic of a new King Heater from SDCC in Joe's pics. Besides that and weird Ultraman combo's that's it it seems.

So anyone have Flynn's group heater pic they can send me?

    Great group picture!
Been looking really close at Heaters lately. I just missed this clear blue ($45) which caught my attention. Would loved to have gotten this one.

I just got the original GID version in the mail today. By far my favorite. I'd love to get my hands on one of the original solid blues or the solid red. I heard the solid red is very very hard to come by.

The OG solid red is still the best of the best IMO.

There's a solid red? Are you talking about the OG with gold spray?

Did that Ultraman tribute King Heater ever come out? I had it on preorder it seems forever and eventually gave up.

Here's a shot of my heater collection. I'm missing quite a few now. Sorry about the dark picture...I have no overhead lights in my toy room right now.

Chuck that's a great shot of your heater collection. I was kind of hoping this thread would bring it out ;) I think heaters really do look nice mixed in any collection. You have your monsters, blobs and what not, then suddenly these vintage style robots appear.

Crap... so I DO need to suck up the price and grab some of these. Have to tool around and see what comes up. I love that the King has swappable weapon hands.

Ya, that's the one I'm talking about Chuck.

I remember being obsessed about finding these when the only versions that were out were the original GID, red and blue. I searched YJA everyday to find them. Then one morning the GID and the red version showed up on the Mandarake site and I managed to get them both. I was so excited. Then when they made their way to my office they mysteriously got lost between the mailroom and my desk. I freaked! About a week later they turned up in an empty cubicle and were finally delivered.

I still have a bunch of them but gave up on trying to be complete because there just became way too many to handle.

yes,,i widdled my heater collection down to six about a year ago...they are all really nice,,it was hard to decide which to keep & let go...

at this point,,i would be satisfied if that was the end of the line,,unless they come up with another killer sculpt

Yeah, I saw that....these have been out for a couple years and all of a sudden Old Balance digs a bunch up? Kinda weird.
