Enough of this LASK AND BASK nonsense!!! It's time for a reality check. NYASK. Come one New Yorkers, let's take control.
Fek all that... what about the FLASKers?!? 1-meanmistert 2-sumatra71 3-tinman59 4-uuh, miami? 5-err, umm...we are many!
you're so in the south. stop trying to be all separate and stuff just because you have so many old people or whatever
No offense to missy ... it's a charming photo, but since when does putting E-Z copyright violations in someone's eyes make a crew superior? Props to NYC from SF.
1. I ate lunch by the LOVE statue daily for many years. 2. Stealing shit is punk and could be considered the basis for this toy phenom that brought us all together. 3. LASK > LOVE.
DIY is punk, which as a LASK member so intelligently noted in a recent phone conversation, is the principle conceptual bridge between punk and neo sofubi, moreso than common musical tastes. Stealing shit is lame. Defining theft as "punk" is sort of like a shoplifter saying "the store won't lose much and deserves it anyway." I don't have a real argument here, just playin' Devil's advocate. Actually "Shoplifting" by The Slits is one of my favorite OG punk songs. Robert Indiana grants copyrights of derivative "LOVE" works to some charitable orgs for free, and to commercial entities for licensing fees. I seriously doubt if he'd have a problem with the button, especially since nobody profits from it. Oh, and it really is a cute photo.
i have no point either. I took these for the boys before I got on a plane as an "I'm on my way" threat in Feb! ha!
nothing was stolen... the correct term is 'appropriated' and thanks xoco, i'm glad you knew it was Robert Indiana and not Tom Morello.
"Inspired by is not 'trying to be'." Super7 manifesto article number 5. haha will Bask kick me out for wearing one of those pins??
No argument there either. Still just playin' in case that isn't clear. No way. It'd be funny, maybe even diplomatic.
