My random ones...

- I think the Ledbetter lobster-looking one should have been done in red, like with Knewnan's.

- I need to see bigger pictures of the common designs, but I'm not that impressed so far.

- Based solely on their outlines, the chases look like they may be interesting.

- It's pretty cool that the ?golden? ticket wins you an 8" figure this time around. Tado rocks.

I only buy western toys when they are straight up dope.

The series 3 is alright. Not the worst not the best. Not worth me buying....

 

Compared to Japanese vinyl 3" dummy's are like toys you get out of a gumball machine. I've still got a couple, but then again I've got "gumball" toys too.

 

Ugh. I dunno what're worse - [expletive deleted] or labbits/mongers/etc. Nevermind, yes I do...

"Stale" and "boring" are the words that comes to my mind after viewing pics of series 3 and most other recent urban vinyl.

 

i still think that [expletive deleted] and bearbricks are great when u just go to a store and don't find anything u want but you want to buy something. I can't resist getting a bearbrick even though i just lose it in my car on the way home.

 

i will buy a few of them because a few of the artists are close personal friends of mine and i love their work.
but the rest....meh

The Tokidoki catches my eye. Everything else is ehh. The colours don't work for me. Too much white. Maybe KR is trying to keep costs (and QC issues) down by limiting paint.

The Ledbetter, Gee and English lack imagination.
I imagine the mystery silhouette with a fez is going to be a mini Baseman Toby.

Too Barbie-like with the accessories. Maybe the cute designs and accessories will attract more female customers. I never understood why anyone would buy something with fabric or clothing. Too doll-like for me.

To state the obvious...Kidrobot toys (including D.u.n.n.i.e.s.) are American vinyl, so they fit in the American vinyl forum here at skullbrain.

 

I don't think that was a suggestion, more of an order.

BTW - anyone want to buy a custom 20" [expletive deleted]. What a fucking bummer, i don't want to own a custom that looks like a production run toy.

Selling it will ruin the authenticity of the Munny movie!!! Consider the ramifications...

 

There is no difference between talking about a Munky King toy on this sub-forum and talking about a KR toy. Both producers have their own forum. Why should people be able to talk about the Possessed figure, but not a KR toy? That makes no sense.

Some people here seem to want to build camaraderie by hating on KR. It actually gives this forum a bad name because the hostility is unnecessary.
