Thank you Bert painted that Panda Tokoji for me, my very first custom piece. Thanks Jeff, it's really come together nicely after the last 2 arrived - and about 80% of them had been in a stuffy box until this week! I still have like 3 or 4 standard releases tucked away in a box, awaiting some larger shelving so they can join their brothers In order, the top shelf is a regular clear GID release, Halloween Unlucky Bag, special commissioned Christmas gift, Naoya Ikeda custom, Lucky Bag, SDCC 2009, and double-pour GID from Gargamel Gang at Grass Hut. The bottom shelf features a Halloween Unlucky Bag, SDCC 2010, Lucky Bag, and Gatchabert custom along the front. Behind them are 3 old standard released versions - a blue w/yellow on the left and the pink/red + River Children specimens on the right.
I really dig this set-up. I like how the contrast between colorways. I like to do that too. everything pops.
I was wondering if you'd be adding that marshmallow toasty dude to the shelf - guess that answers it.
Hahahaha,! Yes Crab! I've been waiting a whole year for them to make another run of them after missing out on the first opportunity. MY face lit up when I got the e-mail from Rotofugi that they were doing Toasted Tuesday. One of the missing puzzle pieces to the collection. Now debating whether a Popsoda belongs on the shelf or not. You know, going with the whole candy-food kaiju theme... I guess?
So much to admire on those shelves jtsui! Thrashout deathra? That virus setup on the bottom?? Ollie? All those freagin rangeas!! Is that an Amanda vissell one on the top right?
Thanks, there are still a few I need to track down. If anybody's looking to part with them, let me know.
Had a move around to give these guys their own shelf - they all look so good together! Will have some more to squeeze in soon...
