I went with Fancy Toy, mostly because of the chibira kun references. I don't like all of them, nazi boy being one of them, but I'll go with the group choice.
Zudon. Carl had a great quote in the Zollmen thread, and it sums up my feelings, go look it up because I'm too lazy to quote it Overall rotating eye, chunky cartoonyness, he's got it all. Maza's cool but seems so serious. I like Zudon's attitude.
Yeah Ed I would have liked to list the different ones but was limited to polling choices (10). I figured Fancy Toy might incorporate the many sculpts and people would echo which one they like the most. Same with Monster Parade minis. It's a main reference to the set of three but I guess you could include the mini mg5 and zudons in that line too.
Maza for me. Great sculpt with great concept of kaiju with mechanical parts. Lots of different textures. Love the half spaceship head and the radar dish hands. I find the neck connection well thought out too. This guy is no fluke. Tight concept.
I went with King Pepora. My other favorites would probably be some of those early minis they put out. The Gyuron specifically. I know what you are saying Ed about the Fancy Toy line. The dog would be one of my favorites, but some of the other figures I'm not as keen on.
My girlfriend absolutely loves the Zudon, it's her favourite toy and she doesn't really care much for anything else i collect. I brought her the GID one a while back and she really loves it, sits alongside my GID mad baron. I just wish we saw some nicer Zudon releases, some of the older ones are stunning but in the last 1-2 years there has not been anything released that's really worthy of the sculpt imo. Hoping we see a nice metallic on pearl vinyl released sometime soon to go along with the recent stuff.
