    Birds Attack at Bispop!!!

    Come join Tim Biskup for the release of the latest figure in his "Alphabeast" vinyl figure series. "Alpha-Gaichou" is a 7" vinyl bird that eats brains! The black painted version will be available in an edition of 350 figures. Tim will be on-hand at Bispop to sign your figure!

    In addition to the new figure there will be a few hand painted samples for sale as well as some original paintings featuring Alpha-Gaichou!

    For those of you who pre-ordered the Foul Flock: your birds will begin shipping this week. We're sorry for the delay!

    For those of you that missed out on the Flock (a very limited set that includes the black painted & 4 unpainted Alpha-Gaichou figures) we will be selling two more sets. One will be sold by lottery at the release party this Sunday. The other will be sold by lottery at the Laguna Art Museum event next Sunday (info below).

    Panel discussion with Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, and special guests Jamie O'Shea (former Juxtapoz Magazine editor) & Patrick Lam (owner of Munky King) discussing the urban vinyl/artist-designed toy phenomenon.

    Lectures are free to members and free to non-members with Museum admission

    Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
    Children under 12 are admitted free.

    Well, I hate to be one of those guys, but I'm going to be out of town on Sunday (in Chicago for the Touch & Go 25th thing), so if there's any kind soul that would be willing to grab one of these for me I'd certainly make it worth their while. (I missed out on the set as I was 10 or 20 seconds too late on the draw).

    I'm not a fan of Biskup's in general, but this piece really appeals to me - perhaps because it's not as cartoony as his other stuff; more like American folk art or something.

    Anyhow, drop me a PM if you can help ( I totally understand if no one can, though)
