here is a little frankenruge figure i sculpted to practice resin casting with. so far ive only made one cast, and one of his legs was hollow. oops! homeboy's like just a little taller than a mini zag.
Nice! You definitely capture look of the character. What did you do the sculpt with?? edit: Second sentence wasn't a question.
NICE! Maybe you should leave a hole an slide in a Chaos-like fake eye? I love the original Frankenruge sculpt, I was let down by the newer, though maybe more accurate, Rainbow one.
the dude is sculpted out of sculpey. hes holding a gun because in the barom-1 episode where frankenruge is born, he goes around with a gun and sticks people up.
What !!! Josh this little sculpt you made is super dope ! Will you be painting selling any of them ?? I need a mini mutant toy holding a gun
nah, im not going to make and sell these, just for practice. its not my character and i dont have a liscense for it. my plan is to practice with this to get the casting process down, then make my own stuff.
Well if it makes you happy you can just give me one of the ones you practiced with as a really cool gift
he looks like he got shot in the gut and is limping around going "fuck...i got shot in the gut!" great sculpting josh.
This is awesome! I love the idea of it being a mini and the stocky character of the sculpt is really great too. Nice work Josh. I'm excited to see what you've got in store for us.
ha! i've been bothering josh about these pictures for the past month or so. maybe he'll post them on here!
i think the pictures arent showing up because this was originally posted in 2005. -edit- and the pictures are probably deleted or moved from where they used to be.
thanks joe! this piece looks gruesemely awesome any paint apps, josh? now if josh can post a nicely sized picture of his frankenruge painting
