Plenty of love, it is just so hard to amass more than a couple figures for me. Seeing them altogether though in your photos makes every individual one cooler. They really work so well as a whole line of 'action figures.' Damn, I need more.
Excellent, thanks for this Jeff, I was wondering how big this new guy was and he is beast! Can't wait to get one!
It's awesome! Hossy hooked it up, I was a little sad because I wanted both new big guys but Pop Soda only had this one. Honestly I couldn't afford both right now anyway, and thought I'd dig the other Ogre more. That said, I love this one and I'm glad it's what I got. The sculpting on the head is so gnarly (I can't think of another word, not using it to sound cool.) It's got such a good feel to it. I was a little turned off by Frenzy originally because the paint jobs were so simple. Again, I was turned around when I got them and the sculpting really took over. It's all about the sculpt with these guys. Plus, on some, there's some cool subtle paint to enjoy in hand. I'll take a full Frenzy love shot once I get a few more I'm waiting on in the mail.
Looking forward to it! I've just checked the two giants on Frenzy's blog: I wouldn't mind these with an even more minimal paint app
Love the new guys, but yeah, I would kind of like to see less paint too, and I am not so won over by metallics. Amazing figures still, but not quite the same classic MOTU feel this way.
