Mine's not in yet walking to the mailbox NOW (though it usually comes right up to me if I have any goods)
Hi Gang. So we got most of the US orders off. Not sure if internationals have gone out yet. Sorry about the int delay. Our new shipper is out for the rest of the week too so it's just me and scrappers. Customs will go out second week in feb as the show comes down mid first week in feb. Thanks again.
I got my package Now I just need to save up to score a Tokoji Seijin from the show...and thanks for the stickers.
I ordered mine over the phone and didn't get an e-mail about tracking. Did this happen to any of the others that ordered by phone? I am still waiting for him to make is way here.
hahahaha this is exactly what my message was before I received the package today and edited it ^_^ UPS was the carrier, hit Bwana/Fig Belly w/a PM of your name to get your tracking # - I didn't have one either (placed my order by phone) til I whined on here about longing to track my Tokoji he'll hook you up w/the info.
Strange fact I only have 2 Tokojis, and obviously when I get this 2nd in, and it's got GID inside - he's gonna get his glow on, right? Turn out the lights, meh, kinda weak, compared to GID vinyl. So what do you do? Open him up, shed some light inside, snap his head back on, and turn the lights off - duh! He glows a good bit stronger when exposed directly to the light Then I decide "hm, lemme swap heads, and be silly" - but wait My River Children Tokoji's head fits over the body flange - but the new Tokoji's head is flanged, not the body. So they're not interchangeable - no biggie! But is this weird? Is there a reason for the different body types between productions, or am I just crazy for ripping my new toys head off in the first place Just wondered! ^_^
I think it is all to accommodate the glow interior. It's another layer of vinyl inside, you know. It's the reason this Tokoji is so much heavier. This is all just my speculation. PS I got mine in today. And he bad!
I gotta ask, since I know you have many Tokoji releases: are any other releases made of vinyl as soft as this guy? Literally, the one thing that I was wanting as an improvement to Tokoji (based upon my RivChildren piece) was how hard he was. I'm a huge sucker for really soft vinyl, so I really love this one in hand
Hmm, I don't know. I just sqeezed all of mine and you are right. They are much firmer than the Gargamel gang one. Again maybe having to do with the internal GID process. I'm not sure. From the original GID clear up to the lucky bag though they are all much stiffer.
Ah, as I thought. I figured that the clear vinyl was the reason for the softness on this release - as my translucent releases of everything are usually the most cushy.
