Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Shhh! Don't say that! I would love a marbled glow anything... I think that's just my glow addiction speaking. Other than glow, I'd really like to see something blue. I don't have any toys in blue vinyl, and I think it's about time I changed that.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Gargamel seems to love blue vinyl, so you have a pretty good shot. Or yoou can hope for blue glow and fulfill both wants/needs.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Now the long wait while bags are being shipped out.. I'm hoping to see some glitter, and some sculpted guts in a pocket/crouching size figure.. also hoping there's large Hedo figures in the mix!
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 ^^Sculpted guts in any crouching figure would be wonderful! Along with others Im hoping for a Miborah, and a dream come true to receive a zodiac animal.. I'd also welcome a new Conifas! Very excited to be getting one altogether though.. Good luck everyone!
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Yes! Another person who likes the conifers! It seems likely, the last two years had a conifer.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Hey Guys If any UK/EU Skullbrainers are after a lucky bag, our allocation will be arriving this week and they are priced at £190 each. We have 3 available and If you'd like to reserve one just drop me a PM. Cheers Barry
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 the exchange rate roulette! a year or 2 ago i never would've thought getting a bag directly from gargamel would be the most economical way to secure a bag, even after broker fees & shipping.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 That's why I decided against the email method. I'm okay with spending extra if it guarantees me a bag. Sorry to hear though, hopefully Gargamel did set aside some bags for international customers beforehand.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 man some people need to chill the fuck out - stop being so angry about toys, for crying out loud. can't wait to see what comes out this year
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Last I heard from Koji, payment emails will be sent out next week when shipping etc is calculated.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 I just received my confirmation email. Kiyoka said they would be sending them out as soon as it was paid for. Hopefully get it this week.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 I sent them an email a couple days in advance asking if I could buy a Lucky Bag and how much shipping would be to the United States. I got no reply at all.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 No email here either .... thought they would sell out too quick for email orders , but figured it wouldn't hurt to try ... also .. I got the feeling you couldn't send them a email until 1pm Saturday (japan time), after the Lucky bags were for sale online?
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 ^^^^^ Give it time guys and gals. Our invoice came almost five days ago and Kiyoka only got back to me this morning with an answer to a question, so...
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 ^^ agreed. Last year they didn't even sell out. So not sure why the panic.
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 I sent an email last Thurs and heard back from Naoya early Sat morn (about 7pm in Japan) - FYI
Re: Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 I wonder if they take into account the large quantity of lucky bags being made available to US residents via specialty toy stores and have chosen to reserve the majority of their online lucky bags for the rest of their worldwide audience. Or if it's just a matter of having placed your order early on and at the suggested application time. If I had placed my order via one of the many US stores I regularly purchase from, my lucky bag would have cost me 394.99 CAD, a pretty penny. I was considering dropping Mirock toy a friendly message concerning their new overseas mail order service which lists overseas prices in US funds instead of JPY. I can still use my Tenso account but I would much prefer encouraging overseas sales. Most local shops should be encouraged and offer more than just a lucky bag if you can pick up in-store. But for US residents who need to rely on mail service I can understand how ordering directly from Gargamel would be the preferred choice, price notwithstanding. It should be worked out once a brand makes overseas purchase available, especially for a bonus/gift/celebratory item such as the gift bag, whether representative shops play a necessary role by claiming distribution rights. Orders placed by shops to Gargamel should be based on pre-sale and would better reflect fan base support via those shops to Gargamel. If Montreal had a Lulubell/super7/Grasshut/Grumbletoy etc. that worked to bring together a fan base and offered a link to the source, I would support that shop.
