oooh! this is looking great!! Great choice in doing the multi-colored bumps. Can't wait to see the finished figure!
Thanks guys for your kind words Hope You like the Front as much as the Back Still needs some touch ups but i think i got him all vintage looking Kinda!? Ill try get some outside shots of him over the weekend Here is he a true Rainbow Warrior Peace
Yeah, I really dig this! The chest has a killer translucent effect. Nice job all around! I'm dying to paint a SK fig myself. I almost wish I had one that was damaged...to give me an excuse.
Glad you like him. I wanted to give him a kinda Ultraman feel? And im pleased with the way he came out. Thankfully this figure i bought from a fellow board member for a very fair price. Used and displayed and so had some scratches and some paint chips. Nothing serious. But still.. He will be appreciated in his new home.Among friends Peace
Very cool K, very cool. I don't know a thing about this guy, but looks like the cyclops from Sinbad, right? You've got that vintage look down too. The colors on the face are really nicely done. And all the little rainbow bits look like they could be jewels embedded in its skin. Nice stuff! Phil
great job kelvin...!!!...!!! coloring in all of those little dots must have been fucking insane...!!!
Definitely a nice paint scheme. Perhaps the background brings it out more but he has a muted vintage feel to him, which you were going for. Mission accomplished. Great job. Never see Shikaruna customs by people other than the Shikaruna guys.
this turned out pretty awesome. the red-to-blue fade is beautiful. and, of course, that work on the arms really makes this custom stand out. great job!
There is just something special/classic about metallic red-to-blue fades that just remind me of vintage vinyl. Same with brown vinyl. =) Phil
