Greasebat is where its at

Whoo hoo! I got a bluegrass-bat heading my way- I love the color of that vinyl, it's going to be a permanent part of my unpainted vinyl collection! Now if only I can get one(or more) to paint!

Thanks everybody that bought one. I can't wait to see it in person. I was motivated by the fine KFHC crew. I also saw one of the greatest old liquor store signs while in Louisville, it was like an old cartoon Colonel. That helped inspire the header card. I wish I woulda taken a photo

 

Congrats on how quickly they sold out! I got my email in right at 1pm est yesterday and didn't get one. Awesome figure. I'm glad Greasebat is getting his due.

got my bluegrass one in the mail today, Chad it looks friggin' great in person. So glad we went with the custom color mix. I like on the lighter color you can see every scale and all his battle scars..

 

I remember watching the process of the sculpts over on Chauskoskis' flickr account. He's an amazing sculptor in my book. I bet the newer ones are gonna rock even more though.

 

be patient everyone. all of the orders will be in the mail by friday, i have been doing them in batches to not make myself crazy.

Seriously though, this is like the first release that I've been excited about and actually managed to get. Usually I'm at work during drops, or I don't get picked via lottery or I'm on the wrong side of the country for shows. But a finally get a greasebat, whoo hoo!

 

Any pics of the Bluegrass version? I won't be in KY to pick mine up til next weekend.

YES!!!!! I love that counter and the customary pile of boxes in front of the bathroom. Color looks much better than the previous pic.

Got mine today and he's even better than I had hoped! Job well done to all those involved in the production process.

I had really wanted a black greasebat, but I agree with everyone on how the lighter color does a great job showcasing the figure's details. All of the scales and pustules are awesome.

 

Did any of you pre-order with Ultra Pop! for the awesome certificate? If so, did you get yours yet? I want mine already!! My Preston needs his blue counterpart!

 

I got mine today. But, I just walked into the shop... LUCKY!!!

The toy and the header are badass together, the certificate just rounds out a really cool package.
