I don't get it. Didn't all the paint splatter stuff start a long time ago just because Luke's airbrush broke? Does he really just not want to switch back to having to paint them and would rather just do Jackson Pollock style Grodys?
I dig it. He hasn't done anything real weird like this since the Chock Full Monsters, so I think he was due for some self-indulgence. Definitely his loudest Monster yet. And he's done plenty of paint-brushing on his last few releases.
I really like the splatter guys. I have a LOT of Grody and only a couple of them have the splatter treatment.
What's the name of these Frankenstein guys & were these a recent release? I like the bootleg vintage look they have...
Thanks!..It makes sense, it's a pretty rad looking toy! Plus I'm a sucker for the old monster stuff..
I thought I remembered reading that the heads where found by Luke, so they might be vintage, or just cheap knockoffs.
Got these bad boys in the mail today! A little diappointed with the racer though...some nasty paint scuffs on the forehead between the eyes, above his left eye, and on that eyelid... Is this common with grody pieces? These are my first grodys and first time ordering from lulubell so not a great first impression but I do love these little guys!
I finally have my NYCC monsters. And for anyone who wasn't bitching about the long wait. JK everyone from the last batch gets one
